Description
Hudson River Park Trust is seeking an experienced producer or production company for its annual Blues BBQ Festival at Pier 76. The one-day festival is expected to attract up to 15,000 attendees for eight hours of music, food, drinks, and related activities across a five-acre waterfront site with two stages, VIP areas, a marketplace, a Kid Zone, dance lessons, and other activations. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive planning and event production, including booking and managing at least five main-stage blues performers; coordinating talent riders and hospitality; producing the event and required production plans; sourcing and managing staging, audio, lighting, generators, tents, furniture, staffing, security, and rentals; procuring and managing BBQ, dessert, marketplace, and compost vendors; operating and staffing bars; managing partner activations; obtaining required permits; and coordinating load-in, installation, event operations, and breakdown. Sponsorship solicitation is optional. The proposal must include separate Services and Pricing packets, a proposal certification, approach and staffing materials, work examples and references, MWBE utilization materials, and specified procurement certifications and forms. The contract is for one year with four optional one-year renewals.
