The Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center / Municipal Auditorium Board is seeking a Production Labor Provider to supply skilled personnel on an as-needed basis for events at the Charleston Coliseum, Charleston Convention Center, and Charleston Theater. Required capabilities include stagehands, climbing and ground riggers, truck loaders, forklift and boom-lift operators, follow-spot, audio, lighting-console, and camera operators, carpet and set-assembly technicians, freight handling, curtain and flooring installation, AV setup, suspended equipment installation, power distribution, cabling, and production-equipment dismantling. Staffing must be available 24/7 as required, with demonstrated experience in comparable venues and high- and low-steel rigging systems. The selected provider will enter into a service agreement beginning February 1, 2027, through December 31, 2030, with annual labor-rate schedules and administrative-fee percentages for each of the three facilities. The proposal must address business credentials, key personnel, staffing capacity and qualifications, references, operating approach, recent experience, and complete rate exhibits. The provider must also maintain required workers’ compensation and general liability coverage, provide qualified and certified personnel for rigging and mobile-equipment operation, and maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy.
