Description
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is seeking a contractor for a turnkey temporary event infrastructure package supporting its annual commencement ceremonies. The scope includes rental, delivery, installation, maintenance, dismantling, removal, and site restoration for tents, staging, ADA ramps and railings, pipe-and-drape systems, banquet tables, and 7,000 ivory Samsonite folding chairs at Cressy Field. Required equipment includes an approximately 36-by-36-foot, three-foot-high stage assembled from 81 staging sections; stage skirts and rails; two ADA ramps; a 30-by-25-foot solid-top bandshell tent with clear top and weights; a 20-by-20-foot clear-top tent with weights; banquet tables; and pipe-and-drape components. The contractor must provide qualified installation, dismantling, and on-site supervisory personnel, coordinate with University and other event vendors, maintain safe and operational equipment during the event, protect University property, and remove all equipment and debris after the ceremonies. Bidders must submit firm fixed pricing for the first three years, with pricing provisions for two optional one-year extensions, along with technical, installation, staffing, schedule, product, reference, insurance, and related proposal information.
