Description
The County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services is seeking a contractor to provide Supplemental Security Income advocacy services for eligible youth in foster care. The scope includes screening cases, collecting biographical, legal, medical, and educational records, preparing and submitting Social Security Administration applications, assisting with required forms, and conducting ongoing case reviews and case management. The contractor must support appeals, reconsiderations, reinstatements, age-18 redeterminations, and continuing disability reviews; coordinate with County staff and medical examination providers; maintain confidential records; provide required reporting; and offer staff orientations as requested. The solicitation estimates annual workloads of approximately 120–150 new SSI applications, 45–60 age-18 redeterminations, and 55–75 continuing disability reviews. Pricing must be submitted using activity-based unit costs and a supporting budget narrative. The contract period is five years, renewable in consecutive one-year increments, with a stated completion date of June 30, 2031.
