Description
Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is soliciting proposals for comprehensive, as-needed tree care services at regional parks, open-space reserves, wildlife areas, nature centers, historic sites, and related facilities. The scope includes programmed and on-demand pruning, palm maintenance, tree and stump removal, crane-assisted operations, trunk injection and pesticide-related treatments, storm and emergency response, cleanup and disposal, and arborist-led tree inventory data collection compatible with Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS, and District maintenance software. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, certifications, and expertise; comply with ANSI A300, ANSI Z133, ISA Best Management Practices, prevailing-wage and California Department of Industrial Relations requirements; and maintain qualified certified personnel, including an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, ATSSA Certified Traffic Control Technician, ISA Certified Tree Workers, and ISA Certified Arborists. The RFP prohibits subcontracting and requires responses addressing company qualifications, safety, methodology, references, licensing, insurance, financial information, pricing, and related certifications. Emergency services require a minimum three-person crew, specified equipment, 24-hour availability, and response to the requested worksite within 90 minutes.
