Description
Riverside County Fire Department seeks contractors to provide preventive maintenance, monthly commercial power-failure testing, quarterly and annual generator maintenance, four-hour load-bank testing, emergency response, and authorized one-time repairs for approximately 37 County-owned generators. Services include labor, materials, equipment, inspections, reporting, hazardous-material disposal, spill response, and replacement of specified consumables. Emergency repair response at designated public-safety sites must not exceed three hours from the request, and emergency service must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Bidders may quote one, multiple, or all geographic service areas. The scope covers generators at fire stations and the Ben Clark Training Center, with required California C-10 electrical contractor licensing, DIR registration, prevailing-wage compliance, OEM replacement parts unless otherwise approved, and sufficient staffing and equipment to support concurrent service needs. The agreement is for one year, renewable for up to four additional one-year increments, with completion stated as June 30, 2032; no minimum quantity of work or compensation is guaranteed.
