Description
Riverside Transit Agency seeks a contractor to provide, install, lease, service, and maintain turnkey parts washer equipment at three maintenance facilities. The scope requires four 20-gallon mobile parts washers at the Riverside facility, two at the Hemet Scaramella Circle facility, and two at the Hemet Wentworth Drive facility. The contractor must furnish equipment, approved aqueous cleaning and degreasing solutions, related supplies, preventive maintenance, repairs, fluid replacement, cleaning, filter replacement, and service records. The contractor must also collect, transport, recycle, treat, and/or dispose of spent cleaning solutions, sludge, and other waste in compliance with applicable regulations, and provide waste manifests and Safety Data Sheets. Service calls for inoperable equipment must receive a response within one business day, with restoration within three business days or a temporary replacement unit. The solicitation requires at least five years of similar experience and successful comparable projects within the past three years. The contract includes a three-year base term and two one-year option terms.
