Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for hazardous waste pickup and disposal services at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and supported community-based outpatient clinics throughout Northeast, Central, and Northwest Ohio. The anticipated scope includes on-site support, hazardous waste packaging, transportation, and ultimate destruction. Estimated disposal volume is approximately 68,000 to 75,000 pounds per year. The notice proposes a base period plus four one-year option periods. Respondents must answer the industry questions and submit an electronic capability statement describing their ability to perform the requirement, service locations and maximum service area, business size and applicable socioeconomic certifications, and typical in-house versus subcontracted operations. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only; it is not a solicitation for quotes, proposals, or bids, and respondents should not submit pricing.
