Description
Trinity County Solid Waste is soliciting proposals from qualified hazardous waste management companies to operate and support its countywide Household Hazardous Waste Program. The contractor will staff public collection events, receive eligible small-quantity-generator waste by appointment, perform transfer-station and locker pickups, and manage collected household hazardous waste. The scope includes identifying unknown wastes; segregating, packaging, labeling, manifesting, inventorying, transporting, recycling, treating, and disposing of waste; supplying personnel, vehicles, equipment, personal protective equipment, containers, and consumable materials; and providing required reports, invoices, disposal certificates, compliance documentation, permits, training records, and operational plans. The addendum clarifies that technical merits and cost/business analysis are each worth 50 points, including disposal methods, company and personnel experience, references, financial stability, and cost competitiveness. A signed Process Integrity Guidelines document must accompany the proposal.
