Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for re-termination of both connectors on government-furnished Multi-Function Towed Array (MFTA) tow cables, followed by documented Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). The base requirement is for three tow cables, with twelve one-cable option quantities. Work includes pre-termination electrical, optical, and insulation-resistance testing; installation of new forward and aft connectors; forward-end bullet-component re-termination; packaging, marking, shipping documentation, and FAT reports. The contractor must perform the work at its own facilities and comply with the applicable tow-cable drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, proof-tension tests, hydrostatic-pressure testing, and electrical/optical testing requirements. The procurement is identified as a small-business set-aside and is described as a sole-source requirement for PMI Industries, although responsible sources may submit capability information, proposals, or quotations. Access to controlled drawings requires JCP certification, a valid DD 2345 submitted by the JCP Custodian, current NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment information in SPRS, and applicable CMMC requirements. Quotes must include pricing, delivery information, a point of contact, CAGE Code, quote validity of at least 60 days, and the required cybersecurity information.
