Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service seeks a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, packaging, transportation, and disposal necessary to characterize, package, remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous, chemical, analytical, and laboratory waste. The work includes supplying compliant containers, drums, overpacks, absorbents, liners, and labels; segregating incompatible materials; preparing shipping papers and hazardous-waste manifests; transporting waste in compliant vehicles; and delivering it to permitted treatment, storage, or disposal facilities. The contractor must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including RCRA, EPA hazardous-waste generator standards, DOT hazardous-materials regulations, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules, and OSHA HAZWOPER requirements. Required deliverables include manifests, certificates of disposal or destruction, inventory reconciliation, and a service summary, generally due within 10 business days after pickup. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price, with one award, and performance is scheduled from September 22 through November 23, 2026.
