Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks information from construction firms capable of constructing the Euclid Creek fishway. The project includes a full-width ramp with 31 upstream-pointing weirs and pools, a four-foot-wide V-notch in each weir, 1.5-foot-diameter boulders, and an upstream weir constructed entirely of concrete to help break up incoming ice. Work also includes partial demolition and excavation of the existing spillway and underlying bedrock, replacement of the spillway, removal of approximately 150 feet of downstream channel, and construction of an embedded four-foot-wide low-flow channel with transverse rock ridges to support fish passage. The requirement also includes a retaining wall. The contractor must investigate site conditions, confirm bedrock depth and quality, and prepare necessary design revisions; site topography may constrain access and construction methods. The estimated project cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Respondents must provide company and business-size information, Unique Entity Identifier and CAGE Code, bonding capability, and up to three similar-size and similar-scope prime-contractor projects, each with a reference. The response narrative is limited to five pages and must be submitted by email with a maximum total email-and-attachment size of 20 MB.
