Description
The City of Cleveland, Department of Parks and Recreation, in coordination with the Division of the Cleveland Public Auditorium and Conference Center, is seeking a professional organization to provide exclusive concessions, banquet catering, bar, and beverage service at the Public Auditorium and Conference Center. The facility includes more than 29,700 square feet of exhibition space, banquet capacity for up to 2,000 guests, three theaters seating 600 to 9,000 people, nine meeting rooms, and a 21,000-square-foot reception hall. The concessionaire will provide full operations and management, food preparation, beverage service, labor procurement and supervision, janitorial services for food-and-beverage areas, security as required, and all associated operating, labor, food, beverage, overhead, smallware, and normal business costs. The selected firm will receive exclusive food-and-beverage rights within the facility and must pursue competitive pricing and maximum revenue for the City. The solicitation identifies a minimum annual guarantee of $100,000. The concessionaire must provide and install any additional kitchen equipment and furnishings at its own expense; approved additions become City property at the end of the agreement. Historical annual food-and-beverage revenue is approximately $900,000, with 2024 and 2025 sales data provided, along with a future event calendar covering February 2027 through January 2028. The contract term is three years, with two additional one-year renewal options.
