SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking one complete, U.S.-domestic hollow-core fiber assembly for high-energy femtosecond laser pulse compression. The requested package includes a main fiber holder kit, KF25 stainless-steel vacuum tubing and fittings, a one-inch vacuum-window mount, a high-power mounted fiber with ceramic protection taper, optical-axis height adjustment hardware for a five-inch beam height, a high-pressure upgrade, and packaging. The fiber itself and UVFS windows are to be sourced separately, while the assembly must accommodate flexible fused-silica hollow-core fibers at least 1.5 meters long and permit them to be stretched and secured. The assembly must support 1030 nm operation, 1.75 mJ pulse energy, 70 W average power, and a 40 kHz repetition rate concurrently, with approximately 30 fs input pulses and a target output below 10 fs after separately procured compression optics. It must provide at least 2.5 bar absolute nominal working pressure, withstand at least 4 bar absolute internal pressure, provide vacuum- and pressure-tight KF-flange window connections with at least an 18 mm clear aperture, include suitable vacuum tubing, and fit within the stated optical-table footprint. The vendor must provide technical compliance information and evidence supporting performance near 1030 nm and feasibility with an 80 W Light Conversion Carbide system, and must ship the complete assembly within three months after purchase-order receipt. Award will use a lowest-price technically acceptable approach with best lead time.
