Horizon Science Academy New Bedford is soliciting competitive bids for Category 1 standalone data transmission service providing a high-speed broadband connection from 1 Gbps up to 10 Gbps. Proposals may address leased lit fiber, leased dark fiber, or a self-provisioned network. The selected solution must support a fully functional end-to-end 1 Gbps connection scalable to 10 Gbps. The project includes approximately 400 linear feet of last-mile fiber installation to the school's Main Distribution Frame. For dark-fiber and self-provisioned options, bidders must itemize all required Category 1 modulating electronics. Pricing must separately identify recurring monthly charges and non-recurring special-construction costs. Providers must possess a valid Service Provider Identification Number and comply with applicable E-rate, Lowest Corresponding Price, and Michigan school procurement requirements.
