Description
Edmonds School District 15 is soliciting bids for Category 1 telecommunications services across 37 district sites, including leased lit fiber service with capacities from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps and leased dark fiber service involving two fiber strands. Bidders may propose lit fiber, dark fiber, required equipment to light the fiber, or combinations of these services. The scope includes installation and initial configuration, special construction and outside-plant fiber infrastructure, testing, splicing, restoration, documentation, and applicable permits and traffic control. The solicitation also requests transitional services during construction, firm unit pricing for future district sites and additional fiber pulls, strands, and relocations, and a response plan for service problems. Proposals will be evaluated on price, references, prior experience, service flexibility, qualifications, and certifications. Providers must have a SPIN, a current SPAC on file with USAC, and Green Light status with USAC.
