Description
The City of Roseville is soliciting bids for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity purchase contract covering as-needed fiber optic cable and accessories. The primary cable requirement is 72-count, single-mode, all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) aerial cable for installation on wood and steel poles, with specified optical, mechanical, environmental, construction, testing, and installation-documentation requirements. The estimated annual usage for the cable is 7,500 units of linear length, with pricing to include reels and delivery. Accessory line items include trunnion supports, suspension units, formed-wire and wedge deadends, vibration dampers, cable storage, aerial fiber splice boxes, and banding bracket kits. Bidders may submit partial bids and propose equivalent products with detailed technical documentation. Required response materials include the signed formal bid page, proof of active California Secretary of State registration or a valid exemption, Attachment A pricing worksheet, a detailed description of the proposed fiber optic cable, and a detailed description of accessories when applicable. The initial contract term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal options.
