Description
Edmonds School District 15 is soliciting proposals for a district-wide fiber-optic communications upgrade serving 37 sites. The requested services include leased lit fiber with 10–25 Gbps capacity, leased dark fiber, required equipment to light the fiber, and installation and initial configuration of the communications infrastructure. The construction scope includes single-mode fiber cabling, pathways, conduits, underground and aerial outside-plant work, permits and inspections, grounding and bonding, traffic control, firestopping, testing, commissioning, labeling, as-built documentation, and warranty support. Proposals may also include transitional services during build-out and firm unit pricing for future sites, additional fiber pulls or strands, and relocations. Bids are evaluated on price, references, prior experience, service flexibility, qualifications, and certifications; bidders must have a SPIN, a current SPAC on file with USAC, and Green Light status with USAC.
