Description
Edmonds School District 15 is soliciting bids for Category 1 telecommunications services across 37 district sites. The scope includes leased lit fiber service at 10–25 Gbps, leased dark fiber service involving two fiber strands, required equipment to light the fiber, installation and initial configuration, and recurring maintenance or service costs. Bidders may propose lit fiber, dark fiber, or both. The solicitation also requests transitional services during construction or delayed service activation, firm unit pricing for future district sites and additional fiber pulls, strands, and relocations, and a service plan for responding to problems. Proposals will be evaluated on price, references, prior experience, service flexibility, qualifications, and certifications, including relevant K–12 experience and manufacturer certifications for installation. Providers must have a SPIN, a current SPAC on file, and Green Light status with USAC.
