Description
The Miami Special Utility Authority is seeking bids for materials supporting a new Fiber to the Premises system. The scope includes bulk single-fiber drop cable; aerial drop attachment hardware; field-installable SC-APC connectors; network interface devices; tonable microduct and conduit; ruggedized fiber jumpers; CAT6 patch cables; remodel junction boxes; and single-hole wall plates. Bidders may propose equivalent manufacturers and models, and may bid on individual components rather than the entire package. The bid schedule provides estimated quantities distributed across four years, but actual orders will depend on deployment activity and are not guaranteed. Pricing must include shipping, and bidders must provide lead times, minimum order quantities or price breaks where applicable, manufacturer warranty documentation, product cut sheets or specifications, and compatibility information. The submission must include the completed bid schedule in Excel and PDF formats, a bidder response sheet, non-collusion affidavit, 5% bid bond, authorization to release information, W-9, and the required proposal narrative and appendices.
