Description
Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. is soliciting proposals to establish one or more master service agreements with qualified contractors for emergency restoration of damaged fiber infrastructure. Work may be authorized through task releases, work orders, service tickets, or other written authorizations and includes damage assessment; restoration of mainline and drop facilities; repair or installation of structures, cable, strand, guying, splice enclosures, and associated hardware; low-light and no-light troubleshooting; fiber splicing and testing; and cleanup and disposal of damaged materials. Contractors must provide qualified personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety resources, documentation, and emergency response capabilities. Proposals must address qualifications, FEMA-reimbursed disaster work, similar projects and three references, pricing for labor and equipment, applicable licenses and insurance, and the required exhibits and certifications. The resulting arrangement may include multiple contractors, with work performed under task-specific authorizations and time-and-materials or time-and-equipment pricing subject to written price ceilings.
