Description
The School Board of Clay County is seeking a firm-fixed-price proposal for the installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of a new OS2 single-mode fiber optic backbone at Shadowlawn Elementary School. The project includes approximately 5,000 feet of cabling across five MDF-to-IDF runs, with a minimum 12-strand plenum-rated fiber per run, LC duplex terminations, rack-mounted fiber enclosures, patch cords, labeling, pathway use or inner duct installation, and all required labor and materials. Corning or an equivalent product is acceptable, subject to the District's approval. The awarded contractor must perform a mandatory site survey before bidding, provide bid pricing by materials, labor, testing, and any ineligible costs, and submit Tier 1 OLTS and Tier 2 OTDR test results, as-built documentation, and required warranties. Respondents must have an active FCC SPIN with Green Light status, a Florida limited-voltage or low-voltage license, specified manufacturer authorization and certifications, and the ability to provide required company qualifications, references, certifications, and signed solicitation forms. Proposals are due by email on November 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
