Description
Edmonds School District 15 is soliciting proposals for Category 1 telecommunications services serving 37 district sites. The requested services include leased lit fiber with capacities from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps, leased dark fiber, required equipment to light the fiber, installation and initial configuration, and recurring maintenance. Vendors may propose the service methods they can provide and must include firm unit pricing for future district sites, additional fiber pulls, strands, and relocations during the contract term. The solicitation also addresses transitional services during construction or delayed service activation and requires bidders to provide pricing, qualifications, relevant K-12 experience, references, service-response plans, and manufacturer installation certifications. Proposals must be manually prepared by an authorized service-provider representative and submitted by email. Providers must have a SPIN, a current SPAC on file, and Green Light status with the applicable universal-service program. Prevailing-wage requirements apply to public-works work under Washington law.
