Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for recurring janitorial services at its Nimitz Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility northbound and Nimitz Platform Scale southbound locations. The scope includes cleaning offices, briefing rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, breakrooms, janitor rooms, parking areas, exterior steps and sidewalks, windows, floors, fixtures, waste containers, light covers, ventilator grills, and related facility surfaces. Services are generally required five days per week, with specified weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, and as-needed tasks. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, operating expenses, and related costs; the agency will provide cleaning agents, paper products, trash liners, and other consumables. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run for twelve months with one one-year extension option. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must submit the required forms and documentation, including a bid form, business and registration documentation, certifications, client references, and applicable preference or incentive materials. A mandatory walk-through is required before bidding, and bids must be submitted as a sealed package by mail, overnight express, or hand delivery; electronic submission is not permitted.
