Description
Alameda County is soliciting uniform rental and textile services for its Building Maintenance, Logistics, Environmental Health, and Public Works departments. The contractor must provide properly fitted, clean, compliant uniforms and textiles; laundering and sanitation; repairs and replacements; inventory management and garment-level tracking; logo and name identification; weekly pickup and delivery; fitting and resizing; service-request support; reporting; and accurate department-level invoicing. Required items include shirts, pants, jackets, coveralls, overalls, vests, lab coats, smocks, towels, floor mats, mop heads, and related industrial textiles, including high-visibility and flame-resistant options where specified. The contractor must provide an online service-management portal, meet defined response and delivery standards, support transition and implementation activities, provide samples when requested, and maintain required insurance and security clearances for personnel serving restricted facilities. The contract term is three years with an option for a two-year renewal.
