Description
The City of Palo Alto Utilities Department is seeking vendors to supply and deliver new, current-production, outdoor-rated single-mode OS2 fiber optic cable in 432-, 144-, 24-, and 12-fiber counts on an as-needed basis. The cable must support aerial lashing and underground conduit installation, meet applicable ITU-T G.652.D/G.657.A1, Telcordia GR-20-CORE, ANSI/ICEA S-87-640, and related standards, and include specified water-blocking, jacket marking, reel, environmental, mechanical, and factory-testing requirements. The agreement will provide pricing for up to 36 months, with estimated quantities varying by year and no guarantee of purchase. Vendors must submit pricing through the City's electronic procurement portal, complete the Bid Form and Bidder's Questionnaire, and provide applicable manufacturer technical data sheets and compliance information for proposed products or alternates. The City may award multiple contracts or award by item or in aggregate.
