Description
Summit County seeks a consultant to provide comprehensive planning and coordination for a two-day wildfire resilience summit. Services include recruiting and coordinating speakers, developing the program, marketing and outreach, managing communications and registration planning, coordinating volunteers and stakeholders, procuring attendee materials, and providing on-site event management. The consultant will also conduct post-event surveys, compile participation metrics, and prepare a summary report with recommendations. Proposals must describe the firm’s background and relevant experience, project approach and schedule, references, project team, and fee proposal. The event is expected to draw 100–200 attendees. The venue and catering have already been secured, and the summit is scheduled for May 17–18, 2027. The contract term may be extended to complete pending projects or canceled by the County with 30 days’ written notice.
