Description
Salt Lake County seeks a supplier to provide ammonia refrigerant oil, Frick and Vilter compressor parts, refrigeration system components, controls, and other ammonia equipment parts and supplies. Bidders must identify the published price list used for pricing and provide a percentage discount that remains constant throughout the contract. The sample price schedule includes parts and labor rates; partial bids may be deemed nonresponsive. The contractor will also provide consultation or backup service, scheduled preventive maintenance with inspection reports and recommended repairs, repairs as requested, and emergency service. Bidders must have at least 20 years of ammonia refrigeration installation and service experience, including at least 10 years directly related to ice rink installation and maintenance. The contract has a six-year term, with no guaranteed purchase quantity; the approximate annual purchasing amount is $100,000 for informational purposes only. A service facility and personnel authorized for warranty work, with parts inventory, must be located within 20 miles of Salt Lake County. The bid requires a warranty covering parts and labor for at least one year.
