Description
Salt Lake County’s Division of Flood Control seeks a contractor to haul and legally dispose of dredged sediment, riprap, sand, woody debris, and miscellaneous refuse from seven zones along Lee Drain. The estimated total quantity is approximately 13,850 tons, and the County may award only some zones. Bidders must price two alternatives: County-provided loading, or contractor-provided loading, labor, supervision, and equipment. Under either option, the contractor provides trucks and drivers and is responsible for disposal, weigh-ticket tracking, best management practices, and cleaning and maintaining access roads and public streets. Weekend and holiday work is prohibited. The contract is not to exceed $250,000, and the work must be completed by March 15, 2027. Bidders must provide a bid bond, required insurance, a payment bond, the requested bid and pricing materials, and at least two completed references demonstrating relevant experience. A Utah S-310 or E-100 license is required. Award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, subject to the County’s evaluation of loading options, prioritized alternatives, and available funding.
