Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting unit-price bids for construction work at various locations throughout the city. The work includes replacing deteriorated or missing concrete in the public way, including ADA curb ramps, sidewalks and other flatwork, curb and gutter, waterways and transitions, and driveway approaches. Related work may include asphalt tie-ins, detectable warning surfaces, mud jacking, grinding or scarifying, tree-root cutting or tree and stump removal, drainage structures, landscape restoration, and traffic and pedestrian control. The contractor must phase work to maintain public use and accessible pedestrian routes, coordinate work locations with the City, and complete temporary and final surface restoration within the specified timeframes. Bids are unit-price and require a bid form, bid schedule, and bid security of at least 5% of the total bid. The Value Program Form is voluntary. The contract requires performance and payment bonds, each for at least 100% of the contract price, after award. The work is to be substantially complete by November 19, 2027.
