Description
Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of Public Works Operations, is soliciting bids for asphalt concrete mix and trucking/delivery services under a multiple-award contract. The procurement will add vendors to an existing pool associated with the previous solicitation, SLCo PWO130955 Asphalt Concrete Mix - RFC; subsequent contracts will be prorated to expire with the existing contracts. Partial bids are accepted, and bids may be considered for award immediately upon submission. The solicitation may be canceled before the posted close date. Bidders must review and agree to the Terms and Conditions and General Requirements, submit the Contract Signature Page, Part A, and Part B as PDF files, provide pricing, confirm compliance with insurance, environmental, and non-debarment requirements, and answer the required business, warranty, payment, auditing, supplier-management, partial-bid, and price-escalation questions. Pricing is firm for the first 12-month term; increases during the second through fifth terms are capped at 5% over the prior term. The contract may be used during declared emergencies, requiring a 24/7 contact name and phone number.
