Description
Hunt Jacobsen Joint Venture is seeking separate trade-partner proposals for pre-construction assistance related to the partial renovation and rebuild of a convention center. Requested trades include structural steel; curtain wall and glazed assemblies; elevators and escalators; fire protection; plumbing; HVAC and building management systems; electrical and fire alarm; telecommunications, electronic safety and security; audio-visual systems; and concrete piles and deep foundations. Selected partners will support constructability reviews, coordination, BIM/VDC, scheduling, procurement and labor planning, cost modeling, and management of a negotiated Fixed Limit of Construction Cost. The pre-construction phase is anticipated to run from December 2026 until construction documents are finalized and permitted, anticipated in September 2027. Each trade proposal must include two separate PDF volumes: a technical proposal addressing project history, team, schedule, and risks, and a cost proposal covering the pre-construction lump sum, construction management fee, general conditions and supervision, proposed FLCC with open-book estimate backup, labor rates, and bonding, insurance, and SDI information. After design is complete, the selected partner will provide a fixed lump sum for construction-phase work within the negotiated FLCC. An NDA is required before solicitation documents are released.
