Description
Salt Lake County is seeking information from vendors able to provide a camera and recording system to monitor when and how ballots are deposited in ballot drop boxes. The system should support deployment at changing locations without hard-wired power, flexible expansion or reduction, remote monitoring and downloading of recorded data, and up to 10 user logins. Customer support should include online and live person-to-person options. Automatic date-and-time file naming is desirable but not required. Responses should be no more than three pages and provide vendor contact information, a written response, and general pricing information covering hardware, shipping, licensing or subscriptions, setup, maintenance, support, warranty, pricing intervals, and available discounts. This is an RFI; the County may initiate a formal RFP after reviewing responses. The notice also invites objections to the proposed sole-source purchase by the stated deadline.
