Description
The Raleigh Housing Authority seeks an experienced communications and public relations firm or consultant to serve as a part-time, as-needed strategic communications partner to its Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team. Services include communications strategy, public relations and media relations, executive and organizational communications, crisis communications, and stakeholder and government relations communications. The selected consultant may prepare press releases, media statements, speeches, talking points, presentations, newsletters, opinion editorials, briefing materials, and fact sheets; coordinate media inquiries; support public forums and special events; advise on sensitive issues and emergencies; monitor media coverage; and assist with communications involving residents, employees, commissioners, elected officials, HUD, policymakers, and community partners. The proposal must include a separate cost proposal with hourly rates, any retainer or fixed-fee pricing, reimbursable expenses, and discounts or value-added services. Award will be based on best value using qualifications, experience, service capabilities, and cost. Proof of insurance is required after contract award, not with the proposal.
