Description
Johnston County Public Schools is requesting qualifications from engineering teams to provide complete professional design and construction administration services for HVAC renovation projects, including additions, renovations, equipment replacement, and other improvements to existing HVAC systems at district schools. Services are expected to begin after award and proceed through construction. Responses must address the proposed design team, consultant firms, staff qualifications, workload and capacity, quality assurance and control, relevant K–12 school project experience, cost-control practices, change-order history, familiarity with local building codes and ordinances, office proximity, innovative design methods, energy efficiency, life-cycle analysis, building-envelope considerations, HVAC system selection, and strategies for minimizing impacts on active school campuses. Proposals are limited to 30 pages or 15 double-sided pages.
