Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, requires a firm-fixed-price service contract for an LGC Genomics oKtopure DNA isolation robotic instrument. The base period is 12 months, with two one-year option periods, for a total possible duration of three years. Required work includes instrument inspection; reassembly and calibration of the 96-channel dispense head; maintenance of plate and protocol settings; software upgrades to current production status when possible without hardware or operating-system upgrades; replacement of components that fail or become defective during normal operation; and unlimited service visits during the contract term, including labor and travel. Quotations must include pricing for all line items, an explanation of the technical approach and schedule capability, and any requirements the offeror cannot accomplish. Past performance may be evaluated as acceptable, neutral, or unacceptable.
