Description
The City of Raleigh is soliciting proposals from one or more firms to provide on-call and emergency services for City-owned or leased public art under master service agreements and individual purchase orders. Services include custom fabrication to approved artist designs; public art installation; consultation with City staff and selected artists; maintenance, repair, de-installation, transportation, and re-installation; utilities and footers; and electrical installation or repair related to public-art lighting. Contractors must provide the personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, licenses, permits, and other resources necessary for each assignment. Scope-specific capabilities include metal cutting, etching, welding, painting, and powder coating; utility locating and permitting coordination; written estimates separating labor, materials, and special equipment; site cleanup; and response within two hours for emergencies and 24 hours for non-emergency requests. Proposers may submit for one or more service areas and must include the required company profile, applicable licenses, financial information, project approach, staffing and experience information, references, and pricing materials.
