Description
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is seeking proposals for public relations strategic counsel and communications support related to airport programs and initiatives, including New Terminal 1 construction, Terminal 2 redevelopment, onsite construction, offsite roadway improvements, and other projects affecting the customer experience. The contractor will support communication with business and community leaders, airport customers, stakeholders, labor groups, elected officials, news media, and the public. The scope includes developing a public outreach program; facilitating meetings and public forums; preparing fact sheets, FAQs, presentations, speeches, talking points, project summaries, newsletters, advertisements, graphics, maps, and website content; updating third-party mapping services; providing media relations, news monitoring, media training, crisis communications, and public opinion research; and coordinating surveys or focus groups. Proposals must address qualifications, experience, organization and staffing, work plan, sustainability practices, references, and proposed fees. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years with two optional one-year extensions. Respondents must submit a single PDF electronically through the Authority's online bid management website.
