Description
The City of Ontario is seeking a qualified graphic design firm to provide comprehensive graphic design, publication layout, and pre-production services for four annual issues of Ontario Living Magazine, a full-color quarterly community magazine and recreation activity guide. The work includes project management, production scheduling, original layouts and graphics, typesetting, photo editing, advertisement design, incorporation of City-provided materials, branding, PDF proofing, print-ready file preparation, coordination with the City's print vendor, packaged Adobe InDesign source files, a web-optimized PDF, and an interactive digital flipbook. The publication is approximately 68 pages for the autumn, winter, and spring issues and approximately 72 pages for the summer issue, with saddle-stitched binding and a one-quarter-inch bleed on all sides. ADA-friendly digital hosting is desired but not required. The selected consultant may also provide optional on-call services, including event flyers, promotional materials, photography, social media graphics, posters, banners, signage, brochures, and other related visual communication projects. The proposal must address the firm's qualifications, staffing, financial stability, experience, references, project-specific experience, technical competence, work approach, first-year schedule, fee proposal, insurance, litigation history, other relevant information, certification, and appendices. The agreement is for an initial one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options at the City's discretion.
