Description
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation is seeking an on-call graphic designer to support marketing and communications across print and digital platforms. Work includes developing and adapting social media graphics, brochures, signage, email graphics, promotional materials, corporate reports, and other production-ready collateral; applying existing brand guidelines; and providing ongoing support to multiple departments. The designer will also develop visual identities and creative assets for three annual tentpole events: Spring Open House, Fall Open House, and Wallabout Wonderland Holiday Market. Services will be assigned as needed, generally with a maximum two-week turnaround and occasional 24–48-hour requests, and include feedback, revisions, version control, regular check-ins, and monthly activity reports. The initial six-month term is capped at 400 billable hours and $25,000, with an option for an additional six-month term bringing the total contract value up to $50,000. Respondents must submit a single PDF proposal containing a cover letter, qualifications and prior project examples, professional references, an hourly cost proposal, and specified forms.
