The County of Riverside is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for five forklifts used by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office Coroner-Public Administrator Bureau. The scope includes scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, fluid and filter replacement, hydraulic and brake work, tire and wheel replacement, battery service, safety-equipment repairs, diagnostics, corrective repairs, operational testing, and documentation of each service visit. OEM or approved-equivalent parts are required unless otherwise authorized. The contractor must provide on-site field service, emergency response within 48 hours for standard-priority requests and 24 hours when equipment is down, annual or regulatory inspections compliant with OSHA Standard 1910.178, service logs, inspection checklists, repair quotes, cost breakdowns, compliance certifications, and follow-up actions. Standard service hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with after-hours rates stated in the price proposal. The agreement is for one year with up to four consecutive one-year renewals, and the County has no obligation to purchase a specified amount of services.
