Description
Riverside County is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and replace 320 UPS batteries and nine UPS fans, verify system operation, record baseline readings, provide installation reports, and recycle the removed batteries and fans. The specified equipment includes Toshiba G9000 750 kVA UPS systems with Enersys 12HX540 batteries and Delta fan replacements, as well as related county UPS equipment. Fans must be purchased directly from Toshiba or an authorized reseller, and all replacement batteries must include a minimum three-year warranty. The scope also includes scheduled preventive maintenance for UPS and battery systems at Riverside County facilities, including quarterly and annual service for communications sites and semiannual and annual service for the Chicago Avenue site. Services include inspections, electrical and battery testing, calibration, firmware or software updates, operational testing, reporting, minor repairs, and emergency repair support. The contractor must provide appropriately trained technicians, hold a current California C10 Electrical Contractor license, maintain Department of Industrial Relations registration, comply with prevailing-wage requirements, and submit required licensing, training, insurance, and other qualification documentation. Subcontracting is not permitted.
