Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for semi-annual parking lot steam cleaning services at its northbound and southbound Cajon Platform Scales facilities. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials; clean concrete and specified asphalt roadway and parking-lot surfaces, platform scales, lanes, overflow areas, inspection-bay floors, and applicable inspection pits; and perform scrubbing or brushing as needed before steam cleaning. The contractor must remove and dispose of wastewater and other effluent, provide disposal documentation with invoices, follow stormwater and non-stormwater pollution-prevention requirements, and use trained personnel. Services are anticipated six times during a three-year agreement term, with work generally performed Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The solicitation requires a valid local business license, a California Contractors State License Board C61/D38 license, and Department of Industrial Relations registration. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost.
