Description
Riverside County, on behalf of the Sheriff's Office, is seeking qualified and certified bidders to provide comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, corrective repairs, parts replacement, inspections, certifications, and support for material handling and facility equipment. Covered equipment includes electric and internal-combustion forklifts, reach trucks, electric and manual pallet jacks, industrial batteries, battery charging systems, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, and related equipment. The contractor must provide scheduled preventive maintenance, emergency and on-call response, on-site diagnostics and repairs, component replacement, written estimates for repairs exceeding $400, service documentation, hazardous-waste disposal, and final safety verification. Standard-priority response is required within 48 hours and high-priority response within 24 hours. Services must comply with OSHA requirements, manufacturer specifications, and Sheriff's Office safety protocols. The contract is for one year with up to four additional consecutive 12-month renewal periods. Awarded personnel must obtain Level One security clearance and pass the Sheriff's Office background investigation before accessing facilities.
