Riverside County Department of Waste Resources is soliciting quotations for two current-production solar-powered, all-terrain surveillance trailers manufactured by Backstreet Surveillance or an approved equal. Each trailer must be DOT-compliant and towable, include a heavy-duty welded-steel chassis, reinforced suspension, leveling stands, a manual tilt-up mast, security tongue lock, solar array and battery system, shore-power connection, weatherproof electrical enclosures, LED marker lights, and a LoJack location system. Remanufactured equipment is not accepted, and the awarded bidder must provide parts-and-labor warranty coverage. The bidder must install County-furnished surveillance equipment on each trailer, including two Uniview PTZ cameras, one Uniview network video recorder, and one Pepwave cellular modem per trailer. The quote must include completed Exhibits A and B, pricing for the trailers and camera installation, and optional pricing for applying the County logo to both sides of the trailers. Delivery is a one-time purchase, with delivery appointments required 72 hours in advance.
