Description
Wake County Public School System is seeking a qualified firm or individual to conduct a districtwide assessment of athletic equipment across 25 high schools and 36 middle schools. Equipment to be assessed includes scoreboards, washers and dryers, ice machines, field-maintenance equipment, track and field systems, game equipment, sideline equipment, wrestling mats, and volleyball standards. The assessment must evaluate condition, age, functionality, safety, compliance with current standards and manufacturer recommendations, remaining useful life, repairability, obsolescence, program alignment, quantity, and quality. Required deliverables include a written report for each school; an equipment and asset inventory; identification of immediate repairs or removals and short- and long-term replacement needs; repair and replacement cost estimates; prioritized recommendations; applicable photographic documentation; and districtwide findings. The response must also include the vendor's assessment methodology, project timeline, cost per middle-school assessment, cost per high-school assessment, and customer references.
