Description
Kern High School District is requesting proposals from qualified Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 California Division of the State Architect-approved inspectors, as well as qualified assistant inspectors, for multiple district-wide construction, modernization, renovation, and tenant-improvement projects. Services include continuous construction inspection, review of materials and work for compliance with approved documents, daily reporting, coordination of testing and inspections, accessibility compliance, DSA oversight-process compliance, and support through final inspection and project acceptance. Proposers must submit relevant experience, proof of DSA certification, and a schedule of fees and services. Compensation is based on monthly fixed fees by inspector classification, with hourly work permitted during the first and last months of projects. The agreement may run for five years, including up to four additional one-year extensions. Proposals must also address applicable fingerprinting requirements and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation or good-faith-effort requirements.
