The City of Normandy Park is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide professional building code services for residential and commercial development. The selected consultant will serve as the Building Official and perform structural and nonstructural building plan reviews; building, mechanical, and plumbing inspections; Washington State Energy Code and accessibility reviews and inspections; related construction code administration; and technical assistance. Electrical plan review and inspection may be proposed as an optional service. The City intends to select one primary consultant for an anticipated initial two-year contract term.
