Description
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is soliciting Expressions of Interest from qualified, prequalified professional engineering firms for three Orders for Professional Services covering its 2027 bridge inspection program: Group 2, Group 4, and Group 6. The work covers 365 routine bridges across the southern, central/northern, and northern regions of the New Jersey Turnpike, with one firm to be selected for each OPS. Services include condition inspections and evaluations, National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and FHWA element-level data collection, National Bridge Inventory updates, inspection report preparation, and data entry using Bentley AssetWise Inspections software. The scope also includes nonredundant steel tension member inspections, underwater inspections where required, bridge appurtenance inspections, traffic control, specialized inspection equipment, load-rating updates, deficiency reporting, quality management, and related coordination. Firms must be prequalified under Profile Code D280C, Bridges - NBIS Program, Complex, and must submit a PDF Expression of Interest through Bid Express. The EOI is limited to 19 pages, subject to specified page, font, margin, and paper-size requirements, with required forms and supporting materials submitted as specified. The solicitation establishes a 25% Small Business Enterprise participation goal and a 3% Disabled Veteran-Owned Business participation goal.
