Description
The University of California, Los Angeles is requesting qualifications from consultants to provide materials testing and deputy inspection services for the reconfiguration of approximately 67,300 square feet on the fourth floor of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The project will convert existing psychiatric nursing units and administrative office space into three acute-care medical/surgical nursing units, with construction performed in concurrent phases using the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. The project is subject to the jurisdiction of the California Department of Health Care Access and Information and other applicable state regulatory agencies. The selected consultant must demonstrate experience with medical center, hospital, and HCAI projects, including new construction and renovations. The anticipated aggregate fees range from $500,000 to $3,000,000 over the PSA term, with an option to extend the fee limit by an additional $3,000,000 if the contract duration is extended. Public university experience is preferred but not required, and the firm may be required to provide evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy.
